A time test is designed to measure the accuracy of a watch’s movement over a period of two to three days. When conducting to this test, your watch will go through the following process:
- Place your watch, complete with the movement, on various timing apparatuses (watch winders)
- Closely observe the watch over a period of 48-72 hours to ensure accuracy of the time at various points
- Tests the average rate, function, and efficiency of the automatic device
- Only after your watch is confirmed to be running in accordance with its original factory specifications will it be returned. If timekeeping is not accurate, our watch makers may recommend a movement regulation or calibration.
