Basic Watch Service

This service is highly recommended for quartz watches that have not had any service work for four years or more. All gaskets break down over time and eventually allow water to gradually migrate into your watch, ultimately ruining the movement, its appearance, and value.

Upon receiving your watch, our watchmakers will:

  • Completely disassemble the case and bracelet
  • Carefully remove the case backing and inspect the movement for any faulty or worn parts
  • Replace any gaskets, if needed, to ensure that your timepiece is protected from water and moisture
  • Perform a dry test to the watch’s case to insure that your timepiece is protected from water and moisture
  • Electronically test the movement and replace any dead batteries
  • Reassemble your watch after all inspections have been made

Please note that a Basic Service is not covered by our 1 year Warranty because there may be problems with the movement that are not fixed when a Basic Service is performed.  However, we will apply the cost of a Basic Service towards any future service on the same watch.

About the repair
Brett and team- Wow! You guys have done a fantastic job on the repair of my Rolex. That watch was in a safe deposit box for 15 years before I was able to get hold of it from family and, as you guys know, not in very good shape. It took me about 2 years to find someone that would work on an early 50's model and when I first did find someone the repair quote was outrageous. You guys reasonably priced the work and provided several options that helped me get the necessary repairs done but also offered some enhancements that I would not have considered otherwise. I have another vintage Rolex I would like to get reworked and I will absolutely send it to you guys. Needless to say, I will be using you guys for any future watch needs I might have.

Thank you for resurrecting my Jaeger LeCoultre Watch. It has been many years since I wore it. It is now just as I remember it when I bought it in 1956 at a department store in Dayton, Ohio. I looks shiny and brand new.

Thank you so much for repairing my Rolex so quickly. I was a bit concerned about sending the watch away to be repaired but I couldn't be happier with the service I received. I will not hesitate to use you again!
